Troy, PA - The Troy Class of 2025 will soon celebrate the accomplishments that culminate with High School Graduation. This Class has achieved goals, not merely as average students, but at levels of excellence that only come with perseverance, dedication and hard work. A truly exceptional group.
The Troy High School Alumni Association has begun planning for the 127th Annual All-Class Reception and Alumni Induction Ceremony. It will welcome this year’s seniors to the ranks of the Alumni and send them off to even greater heights.
The event will be held at 5:30pm on Friday May 16th, 2025, at Troy’s Memorial Auditorium. There will be recognition of the seniors, their families, and teachers who have facilitated this twelve-year landmark. After the All-Class Reception featuring a free light buffet, the brief program will begin at 6:30pm. Attendees can expect an entertaining evening that includes sage advice and stories about speakers’ high school adventures. It is a fascinating look into how school has changed and, in some cases, stayed the same through the decades.
The emcee will be Joe Vineski, Class of 1974, who was a speaker at last year’s event. Troy Jr./Sr. High School Principal Steve Brion will present the Class for Induction.
Speakers will be featured from classes in decades ending with “5”.
Class of 1955 – Glen Longnecker
Class of 1965 – Bob Staudt
Class of 1975 – Joy Cole Laue
Class of 1985 – Terry Spalding
Class of 1995 – Matt Geer
Class of 2005 – Emily Harkness

Response from Class of 2025 - Hart Houseknecht - Class President
This year, the Alumni Association will also honor the outstanding athletic achievements of the Football Team. A commemorative gift will be given to the team and all those associated, including coaches, cheerleaders, and band. Reception attendees are encouraged to wear red or your past/present high school athletic gear, like your letterman’s jacket, in their honor. A limited number of commemorative items will be available for purchase by attendees.
The Senior Class, their family and supporters who have helped them achieve this goal are invited. All alumni, faculty, and staff from the past and present are also encouraged to attend. This is a free event for which reservations are not needed. We hope you will join us!
